Would be virtually impossible to be any worse, here's a list of factors:

- New coaches, 0 spring and minimal summer practices to install a brand new system
- Lost best player to opt-out (Farley)
- Lost second best player to injury (Waller)
- Lost best DLinemen to injury (Crawford)
- Third best player got COVID and gained like 30lbs (Ashby)
- Rest of the defense missed most of August/September with COVID
- Played no OOC games
- Started multiple guys with no FBS experience (Taylor, Jenkins, Strong, Barno)

We've upgraded every position across the board from last year with the exception of Deablo's spot. Literally every starter against UNC will be an upgrade over the guy in that role last year against NCST whether it be due to experience or natural talent.

Barno replaces Reed, Pollard gets his first offseason in the program, Williams slides in, Garbutt/Belmar are back. Tisdale gets an offseason, Dax plays his natural position, Conner more experienced. Waller is back, Strong gets an offseason, Daley has SEC starting experience, Taylor/Jenkins/whoever gets an offseason.
